Here are the list of all the federal polytechnics in Nigeria as published by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Below is the list of all Federal Polytechnics accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in Nigeria. We will keep updating this list as soon as new polytechnics are created.
A polytechnic is a specialized institution offeringpost-secondary specialized education programmes leading to the award of warrants/ instruments similar as the National Diploma( ND) and Advanced National Diploma( HND). The products of these institutions will have entry- position employment chops to serve as technicians, advanced technicians/ technologists or professionals, depending on the position of training, in their fields of specialization. A polytechnic may also be involved in applied exploration, and perform any other functions that its Council may bear it to perform from time to time. The minimal entry demand is the SSSC/ GCE O’Level with credit passes in at least five subjects applicable to the programme or their coequals.
